I think that my Mum needs some basic computer training and I am trying to get her to do a course. The problem is that she has a computer and likes to play games and send emails on it as well as use the Internet a bit. The problem is that she does not have a lot of confidence on the computer and if a strange message comes up she has to call me to find out what to do. Also sometimes she downloads things without knowing exactly what they are and she has managed to get a few viruses on her computer. Luckily I have managed to get them off for her, but I can’t help but think that if she knew a little bit more about what she was doing then she would not have had the problem in the first place. I have seen some online computer training courses which look like they might be just the right thing for her and so I have made some investigations and I might buy her one for her birthday. It may seem a bit expensive but it will be worth it, if I am, not having to provide the computer support all of the time.
